Kasado na ang Mega Job fair ng Quezon City government bilang bahagi ng selebrasyon ng Labor Day sa May 1.
Ayon sa QC LGU, nasa 100 kumpanya ang mag-aalok ng higit 9,000 trabaho at oportunidad sa loob at labas ng bansa sa naturang job fair, na pinakamalaking job expo na ioorganisa ng city government.
Pangungunahan ito ng QC Public Employment Service Office katuwang ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) na gaganapin sa City Hall Risen Garden mula 8:00 AM hanggang 5:00 PM.
Bukas ito maging sa mga job seeker na non-QC residents.
Kabilang sa malalaking kumpanyang makikilahok rito ang San Miguel Corporation Integrated Merchandising Inc., Meralco Energy Inc., D.M Consunji Inc., Solaire Resort North, Sanford Mktg. Corporation (Savemore), Robinsons Supermarket, Union Bank, Wilcon Depot, Zesto Corporation, Amaia Land Corporation, Asia Brewery Inc., at JRS Express.
Magkakaroon din ng One-Stop Shop para makapagproseso ng requirements ang mga aplikante gaya ng QCitizen ID, PhilSys ID, Social Security System, Philhealth at Pag-IBIG membership.
Libre ring makakakuna ng clearance sa National Bureau of Investigation at Philippine National Police ang first-time jobseekers.
Habang ang TESDA ay mag-aalok din ng libreng training at seminars.
Sagot naman ng LGU ang libreng printing ng ID pictures at resumes.
Bukod sa City Hall, mayroon ding gaganaping simultaneous job fairs sa SM Supermalls, kabilang ang SM City North EDSA, SM City Sta. Mesa, SM City Novaliches, at SM City Fairview.
