Nakatakda nang magbukas muli sa publiko sa darating na Hunyo ang La Mesa Ecopark sa Quezon City sa pangangasiwa ng Manila Water.
Ayon sa Manila Water, binigyan na ito ng ‘go signal’ ng Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) at QC LGU para buksan ang parke kasabay ng World Environment Day sa Hunyo.
Dahil dito, uunahing tapusin ang phase 1 ng rehabilitasyon ng La Mesa Ecopark bago buksan ito sa publiko.
Kasama rito ang Eco Academy Pavilion, Museum, at Team Building Activity Centers, maging ang Picnic Areas, Souvenir Shop, Viewing Deck, at swimming pool.
Tina-target naman ng Manila Water na maglatag ng environmental awareness attractions sa loob ng parke upang mahikayat ang mga bisita na pangalagaan ang kalikasan.
