Nasabat ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang P13.3 bilyong halaga ng shabu mula sa isang suspek na sinita sa checkpoint sa Alitagtag, Batangas kaninang pasado alas-8 ng umaga.

Sa ulat ng Alitagtag Municipal Police Station (MPS) na nakarating sa Camp Crame, kinilala ang suspek na si Ajalon Michael Zarate, residente ng Project 4, Masagana, Quezon City.

Natagpuan sa kanyang minamanehong Foton passenger van na may plakang CBM5060 ang humigit kumulang dalawang tonelada ng shabu, habang iniinspeksyon ito sa checkpoint.
