Humirit ngayon si Camarines Sur Representative LRay Villafuerte na ibalik ng gobyerno at pribadong sektor ang work from home set-up.
Ito ay sa gitna na rin ng inaasahang mas matinding init ng panahon na posibleng pumalo pa ng hanggang 52 degrees Celsius ayon na rin sa weather bureau.
Ayon kay Villafuerte, nakapaloob naman sa Telecommunicating Act of 2018 na maaaring i-adopt ang work from home arrangements para sa mga empleyado bilang pagpapakita ng ‘fair treatment’.
Mayroon din aniyang kautusan ang Civil Service Commission sa ilalim ng Memorandum Circular No. 6, na nagpapahintulot noong panahon ng pandemiya na magkaroon ng flexible work setup.
Sa paraan aniyang ito ay mapoprotektahan ang mga manggagawa mula sa matinding init ng panahon na maaaring mauwi pa sa cardiac arrest at heat stroke.
