Pagsasagawa ng maintenance at systems check, pinaigting ng Manila Water

Dahil sa inaasahang tataas pa ang demand sa tubig ngayong Mayo, pinaigting pa ng water concessionaire na Manila Water pagkukumpuni at system checks sa lahat ng 40 reservoirs at 72 pumping stations sa Metro Manila at lalawigan ng Rizal.

Ayon sa Manila Water, sa pamamagitan nito ay maiiwasan ang aberya sa paghahatid ng serbisyo ng mga pasilidad nito sa higit pitong milyong customers sa Metro Manila east zone.

Kasunod nito, tiniyak rin ng Manila Water na sa mga pagkakataong may maintenance works ay sapat ang abisong ibinibigay sa komunidad at tuwing off-peak hours lamang din ito iniiskedyul.

“We are also asking for our customers’ understanding to bear with us when we carry out emergency or unforeseen repairs of our waterlines. On the other hand, scheduled maintenance works are done in the off-peak hours and with ample notices to communities to lessen the impact on our customers’ daily activities,” pahayag ni Manila Water Communications Affairs Group Director Jeric Sevilla.
