Muling nagpatupad ng rigudon ang Philippine National Police (PNP) sa matataas na opisyal nito.

Batay sa kautusan ni PNP Chief, PGen. Rommel Francisco Marbil, itinalaga si PMGen. Romeo Caramat Jr. bilang pinuno ng Area Police Command – Northern Luzon na isang 3-star post.

Papalit naman kay Caramat bilang hepe ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) si PMGen. Leo Francisco.

Habang itinalaga naman bilang hepe ng Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management (DIDM) si PBGen. Matthew Baccay bilang kapalit ni Francisco.
