SC Chief Justice Gesmundo, pangungunahan ang pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kalayaan sa Pinaglabanan Shrine sa San Juan City

Pangungunahan ni Supreme Court Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo ang pagdiriwang ng ika-126 na anibersaryo ng Kasarinlan ng Pilipinas sa Pinaglabanan Shrine sa San Juan City ngayong araw.

Ganap na alas-7:45 ng umaga, sisimulan ang programa ng pagtataas ng watawat at ang pag-awit ng Lupang Hinirang sa harap ng San Juan City Hall.

Susundan ito ng pag-aalay ng bulaklak sa Pinaglabanan Shrine na sasabayan naman ng 21-gun Salute bilang pagpupugay sa mga bayani ng bayan.

Ayon kay San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, isang malaking karangalan para sa kanila sa San Juan na maging panauhin ang ika-5 pinakamataas na pinuno ng bansa.

Patunay lamang aniya ito ng pagkilala sa mga naging ambag ng mga San Juaneños upang ipaglaban ang kalayaan ng Pilipinas mula sa kamay ng mga mananakop. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
