DSWD, nakipag-partner sa local retailers para sa Food Stamp Program sa Central Visayas

Magtutulungan ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at local retailers sa pqgpapatupad ng Walang Gutom 2027: Food Stamp Program sa Central Visayas.

Kapwa lumagda na sa Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) ang DSWD Field Office 7 at mga retailer mula sa Cordova Multi-Purpose Cooperative at RC Family Grocery Store sa Cordova, Cebu.

May kahalintulad na MOA din ang nilagdaan sa pagitan ng local retailers sa Mabinay, Negros Oriental.

Ayon kay DSWD Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao, dahil sa inisyatibang ito masisiguro ang tagumpay ng programa sa rehiyon.

Binibigyang priyoridad ng DSWD ang local retailers sa implementasyon ng Food Stamp Program (FSP) sa pamamagitan ng pag-uugnay sa kanila sa mga itinatag na merkado gaya ng mga benepisyaryo ng FSP.

Sabi pa ni Dumlao, ang mga partner-retailer ang magsu- supply ng food packages para sa FSP beneficiaries sa panahon ng redemption days.

Ang Food Stamp Prigram ay isang priority program ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. para sa mga mahihirap na benepisyaryo. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
