Pinag-aaralan ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) ang pagpapatupad ng liquor ban sa Quezon City, bago at sa araw ng State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Ayon kay QCPD Director Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan, hinihintay na lamang nila ang direktiba mula sa Philippine National Police lalo na ang usapin ng Suspension ng Permit to Carry Outside of Residence.

Binanggit din ni General Maranan, na makikipagpulong din ang QCPD sa rally organizers upang tiyakin ang maayos na kilos protesta kasabay ng SONA ng Pangulo.

Una nang inihayag ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) na mahigit 22,000 tauhan ng PNP at force multipliers ang ikakalat para sa SONA.

Pagtiyak pa ni General Maranan, na wala namang natatanggap na seryosong banta sa seguridad ang QCPD sa SONA ni Pangulong Marcos. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
