Mountain Province State Polytechnic College, isa nang ganap na unibersidad – CHED

Inaprubahan na ng Commission on Higher Education (CHED) ang conversion ng Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC)sa pagiging Mountain Province State University.

Ayon kay CHED Chairperson Prospero De Vera III, natugunan at nasunod ng MPSPC ang mga pamantayan ng CHED para sa conversion sa isang state university ayon sa iniaatas ng batas.

Ang Republic Act No. 12016, na nag-uutos na gawing state university ang MPSPC ay ipinasa sa Kamara at Senado, at nilagdaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. noong Agosto 1, 2024.

Ang MPSPC, na may mga campus sa munisipalidad ng Bontoc, Tadian, Bauko, Paracelis, at Barlig ay ang tanging public institution na may mataas na pag-aaral sa Mountain Province.

Nag-aalok ito ng 23 undergraduates at anim na programang nagtapos na may average na enrollment na humigit-kumulang 5,000 estudyante bawat semestre.
