Tulong ng DSWD sa mga apektadong residente sa nangyaring oil spill sa Limay, Bataan, nasa mahigit P76-M na

Umaabot na sa mahigit P76 million ang tulong na naipagkaloob ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa mga kababayan nating apekatado ng oil spill.

Sa pagdinig ng House Committee on Ecology sa pinakahuling maritime incident sa paglubog ng MT Terra Nova at Motor Tanker Jason Bradley, sinabi ni DSWD Undersecretary Dianne Cajipe, na umaabot na sa 167,857 indibidwal ang apektado ng oil spill.

Ito ay mga residente ng Region III at Calabarzon kung saan naapektuhan ang may 217 na mga barangay.

Sa naturang halaga P51 million ay sa pamamagitan ng financial assistance habang ang P25 million naman ay sa pamamagitan ng family food packs.
