House of Representatives, nagsagawa ng outreach program sa PWDs, senior citizens at mga kabataan

Nagsagawa ang House of Representatives ng kauna-unahang outreach program para sa persons with disabilities (PWDs), at taunang serbisyo publiko sa mga elderly at children.

Bahagi ng kanilang ika-117th founding anniversary ang kanilang pagtulong sa mga nakatatanda at orphaned children sa Barangay Bago Bantay, Quezon City.

Kabilang sa mga binisita ng House Secretariat at congressional staff ang Golden Reception and Action Center for Elderly and other Special Cases o (GRACE) at ang National Council on Disability Affairs.

Namahagi ang HREP ng wheel chairs, quad cane, stroller-walker, crutches at grocery food packs sa mga PWD, at basic necessities sa mga nakatatanda.

Sinabi ni United Senior Citizen Partylist Rep. Milagros Aquino Magsaysay, ikinatutuwa nya na mabigyan siya ng oportunidad na mabisita ang mga senior.

Ayon naman kay Quezon 2nd District Rep. Ralph Wendel Tulfo, hindi kinalilimutan ng Kamara ang issues, concerns at pangangailangan ng mga kababayang may kapansanan.
