Ika-8 araw ng COC filing, nananatiling payapa – PNP

Nananatiling mapayapa at maayos ang sitwasyon sa mga tanggapan ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) sa ika-walo at huling na araw ng pagsusumite ng certificate of candidacy (COC).

Ayon kay Philippine National Police (PNP) Spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo, as of 12 noon kanina, wala silang natatanggap na ano mang report ng tensyon o gulo sa buong bansa kaya maituturing na “relatively peaceful” ang COC filing.

Dagdag pa ni Fajardo, base sa mga ulat ng kanilang ground commander walang mga naitalang untoward incident na makakaapekto sa paghahain ng COC.

Umaasa naman ang PNP, na mananatiling mapayapa at walang maitatalang sigalot hanggang sa matapos at magsara ang COC filing kaninang alas-5 ng hapon. | ulat ni Diane Lear
