Ika-apat na araw ng Certificate of Candidacy filing, nanatiling payapa — PNP

Nanatiling mapayapa at maayos ang sitwasyon sa mga tanggapan ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) sa apat na araw ng pagsusumite ng Certificate of Candidacy (COC).

Ayon kay Philippine National Police (PNP) Spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo, wala silang natanggap na anumang report ng tensyon o gulo sa buong bansa kaya maituturing na “relatively peaceful” ang COC filing.

Dagdag pa ni Fajardo, base sa mga ulat ng kanilang mga ground commander maayos ang kalagayan sa mga COMELEC office.

Kaugnay nito, tiniyak ni Fajardo na mananatili ang “maximum police presence” sa mga lugar ng paghahain ng COC upang masiguro ang kaayusan at seguridad ng proseso.

Ito ay alinsunod na rin sa utos ni PNP Chief Police General Rommel Marbil na maging “vigilant” ang lahat ng PNP personnel. | ulat ni Diane Lear
