Unti-unti nang pinupunuan ang mga bakanteng posisyon sa Command Group ng Philippine National Police (PNP).

Ito’y matapos italaga ni PNP Chief, Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil si Police Maj. Gen. Edgar Alan Okubo bilang The Chief of the Directorial Staff (TCDS).

Batay sa General Orders mula sa Office of the Chief PNP, epektibo ang pagkakatalaga kay Okubo ngayong araw, October 4 mula sa Civil Security Group (CSG).

Pinalitan ni Okubo si Police Lt. Gen. Jon Arnaldo na nagretiro na sa serbisyo kahapon, October 3.

Una nang sinabi ni Marbil na itatalaga nito si Police Maj. Gen. Leo Francisco kapalit ni Okubo sa CSG matapos itong italaga pansamantala sa Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit (PHAU) nang palitan naman siya ni Police Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III sa Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG). | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
