250 food packs at non-food items, ipinamahagi ng DSWD sa mga evacuee sa Maconacon, Isabela na apektado ng bagyong Marce

Namahagi ng tulong ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa mga residente ng Maconacon, Isabela na lumikas dahil sa bagyong Marce.

Ayon kay DSWD Spokesperson Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao, nagbigay sila ng 250 family food packs at 250 non-food items sa mga pamilyang nasa walong evacuation centers sa nasabing bayan.

Batay sa ulat ng ahensya, mayroong mahigit 1,100 pamilya o mahigit 3,200 indibidwal ang naapektuhan ng bagyong Marce sa mga rehiyon ng Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, at Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

Sinabi ni Asec. Dumlao, na mayroon pang mahigit 220,000 na kahon ng family food packs na naka-preposition sa mga pasilidad ng DSWD na maaaring ipadala sa mga apektadong lokal na pamahalaan para sa disaster response.

Samantala, inihayag din ni Asec. Dumlao na nakapagbigay na ang DSWD ng higit 1.2 milyong family food packs at mahigit 38,000 non-food items sa mga pamilyang apektado ng bagyong Kristine at bagyong Leon. | ulat ni Diane Lear
