Kumilos na ang Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) para imbestigahan ang naging banta ni Vice Presient Sara Duterte laban kina Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, at House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.

Ito’y makaraang ihayag ng Pangalawang Pangulo nitong weekend na kumontrata na siya ng isang assasin sa sandali umanong may mangyari sa kanya.

Ayon kay CIDG Director, Police Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III, natanggap na niya ang utos mula kay PNP Chief Police General Rommel Fracisco Marbil na imbestigahan ang naging banta na ito ng Pangalawang Pangulo.

Sa katunayan, nakikipag-ugnayan na ang CIDG sa Presidential Security Command (PSC) bilang bahagi ng kanilang imbestigasyon na kanilang binibigyang prayoridad.

Samantala, sa hiwalay na mensahe ni Marbil sa mga miyembro ng PNP Press Corps, sinabi nito na bagaman ang CIDG aniya ang nangunguna sa imbestigasyon, tutulong din ang iba pang yunit ng Pulisya hinggil dito. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
