Higit 70,000 food packs, naipamahagi ng DSWD sa mga apektado ng aktibidad ng Bulkang Kanlaon

Sumampa na sa 70,000 Family Food Packs (FFPs) ang naipamahagi ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa tuloy-tuloy na distribusyon ng relief packs sa mga naapektuhan ng pag-alburoto ng Bulkang Kanlaon.

Kabilang sa naabutan ng food packs ang mga residente sa Western at Central Visayas.

Pinakamalaki ang nailaan sa Region 6 kung saan maraming pamilya ang inilikas. Aabot sa higit 49,000 ang ipinamahagi ditong food packs.

Bukod sa food packs may 11,725 ding non-food items ang naipamahagi na ng DSWD.

May halos P9 milyon ding nai-release na ayuda sa ilalim ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS).

Kaugnay nito, aabot na rin sa higit 200,000 ang nakapreposisyong food packs sa Region 6 at 7 na nakahanda sakaling tumaas pa ang aktibidad ng Mt. Kanlaon. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
