CAAP, nagsasagawa na ng imbestigasyon sa nangyaring pagbasak ng US military aircraft sa Mindanao

Nakikipagtulungan na ang pamunuan ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) sa mga lokal na otoridad para malaman ang sanhi ng pagbagsak ng isang US military aircraft sa Barangay Malatimon, Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur, nitong February 6, 2025.

Ayon sa inilabas na pahayag ng CAAP, kumpirmado umano sa pamamagitan ng US Embassy sa Maynila na isang US military-contracted aircraft ang sangkot sa nasabing insidente.

Kinumpirma din ng CAAP na apat ang patay na pasehero, isa ang Amerikano habang patuloy na inaalam ang nationality ng tatlong iba pa.

Ang nasabing eroplano na isang Beechcraft King Air 300 na may registration number N349CA, ay umalis sa Cebu at patungo sana ng Cotabato City para sa isang aerial survey nang ito ay bumagsak.
