Nananatiling nakataas ang heightened alert status ng Philippine National Police (PNP) para tiyakin ang seguridad at kaligtasan ng publiko ngayong papalapit na ang Semana Santa at panahon ng bakasyon.

Kaugnay nito, sinabi ni Police Regional Office 3 Director at Concurrent PNP Spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo na nakakalat na ang nasa 40,151 Pulis sa buong bansa kaugnay nito.

Bunsod nito, inatasan ni PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil ang lahat ng Police Commanders sa buong bansa, na tiyakin ang seguridad at kaayusan lalo’t nasabay pa ito sa eleksyon 2025.

Ipinag-utos din ng PNP Chief na gawing 12 oras ang shifting ng mga on duty na pulis kung kakailanganin, at mahigpit na rin nilang ipinatutupad ang no leave policy maliban na lamang kung emergency. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
