Transparency at patas na imbestigasyon sa pulis na nanghihikayat ng pag-aaklas, tiniyak ng PNP

Tiniyak ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na transparent at patas ang magiging paglilitis sa pulis na humihimok sa kaniyang mga kasamahan na mag-aklas sa pamahalaan.

Sa pahayag ngayong araw, sinabi ni PNP Public Information Offce Chief, Police Colonel Randulf Tuaño, kahit may naging paglabag ay daraan pa rin sa due process ang kaso ni Patrolman Francis Steve Tallion Fontillas.

Magugunitang pormal na ipinagharap ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) ng reklamong inciting to sedition dahil sa umano’y panghihikayat nito na mag-aklas.

Giit ni Tuaño, ang kaso laban sa naturang pulis ay dahil sa hindi awtorisado at may bahid-pulitikang mga komentaryo nito sa social media patungkol sa pagkakaaresto kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Para naman kay PNP Chief, Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil, hindi plataporma ang social media para sa personal o pulitkal na agenda.
