Iba-ibang agricultural products na dala ng mga pasahero, kinumpiska ng Bureau of Plant Industry sa NAIA

Nakumpiska ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) na nakatalaga sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ang iba’t ibang agricultural products na dala ng anim na pasahero mula sa iba’t ibang bansa.

Aabot sa 66.1 kilograms ng iba-ibang prutas na kinabibilangan ng 8.5 kilo ng cherries dala ng isang pasahero mula Korea, at 21 kilos na mangga na dala naman ng isang pasahero mula Malaysia.

Kumpiskado din ang 10 kilos na mangga mula Bangkok, habang 20kgs naman na lanzones, 2kgs na makopa, at 1.7kgs namang persimmon ang nakumpiska mula sa tatlong pasahero mula Guangzhou, China.

Kinumpiska din ng BPI ang 2.9 kgs na cherries at peaches na dala naman ng isang pasahero mula China.

Ayon sa BPI, ang mga naturang produkto ay walang mga kaukulang permit nang maharang ng Bureau of Customs kung saan mahigpit itong ipinagbabawal na makapasok sa bansa, dahil sa pinangangambahang peste na dala nito.
