Umapela si Asst. Minority Leader at Camarines Sur 3rd District Rep. Gabriel Bordado Jr. kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na buhayin ang Philippine National Railway project sa Bicol Region.
Ayon sa mambabatas, malaki ang mai-aambag ng naturang proyekto sa paglago ng ekonomiya at pag-unlad ng naturang rehiyon.
Napapanahon din aniya ang pagbabalik operasyon ng Bicol PNR para makabawas sa trapiko at polusyon.
Dagdag pa ni Bordado, maliban sa pagiging episyenteng transportasyon, ay mapapabilis din ng railway system ang paghahatid ng mga produkto.
Tinukoy pa nito na noong kasagsagan ng biyahe ng PNR mula La Union pa-Bicol ay naging daan ito sa pag-konekta ng mga probinsya at pagpapalago ng trade and commerce.

By extending the PNR Charter, the government ensures that the railway system continues to function in the distribution of goods and services, especially to grassroots levels.
