Driver ng fuel tanker na naka-hit-and-run sa motorcycle rider sa Mandaluyong, arestado na

Naaresto na ng mga awtoridad ang driver ng fuel tanker na nakasagasa at nakapatay sa isang motorcycle rider sa southbound lane ng EDSA-Shaw Boulevard tunnel sa Mandaluyong City.

Ayon sa hepe ng Mandaluyong City Police na si Col. Cesar Gerente, kusang isinuko ng kumpanyang nagmamay-ari ng fuel tanker ang 44-na taong gulang na driver.

Umamin aniya ang lalaki na siya ang driver ng fuel tanker ng RePhil nang mangyari ang hit-and-run incident.

Sinabi ni Gerente na iginiit ng driver na hindi nito naramdaman na nasagasaan ang motorcycle rider bagama’t lumabas sa medical examination na hindi rin ito nakainom.

Na-inquest na ang driver at haharap sa kasong reckless imprudence resulting to homicide.

Samantala, hindi pa rin nahahanap ang driver ng puting Sport Utility Vehicle na nakasagi sa motorsiklo habang binabaybay ang EDSA Bus Carousel Lane. | ulat ni Hajji Kaamiño
