DSWD Disaster teams, 24 oras nang tinututukan ang Albay sa posibleng augmentation support

Nakatutok na 24/7 ang lahat ng disaster teams ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa mga kaganapan sa pag-aalburoto ng bulkang Mayon.

Nilalayon nitong masiguro na agad matutugunan ang mga pangangailangan ng mga evacuees.

Sinabi ni DSWD Bicol Regional Director Norman Laurio na may koordinasyon na rin sa kanilang counterparts sa local government units ang disaster teams para sa synchronized at maayos na pamamahala ng mga evacuation centers. 

Kahapon, ininspeksyon na ni Laurio ang dalawang evacuation center sa Camalig at Guinobatan.

Samantala, dumating na sa DSWD FO 5 Temporary Warehouse sa Pawa, Legaspi City ang family food packs mula sa DSWD National Resource and Logistics Management Bureau.

Asahan na makapag-imbak ng 50,000 family food packs sa bagong warehouse sa loob ng 48 oras. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
