QC Jail Male Dormitory, nananatiling “drug-free”; ginawaran bilang “Best City Jail”

Ginawaran bilang “Best City Jail” ang Quezon City Jail – Male Dormitory (QCJMD) sa ginanap na 8th BJMP Regional Management Meeting and Awarding Ceremony kamakailan.

Ang Certificate of Recognition ay ipinagkaloob ni BJMP-NCR Regional Director JCSupt. Efren Nemenio.

Ang tagumpay umano ng QCJMD ay iniuugnay sa “Winning Hearts and Minds Approach” na itinaguyod ng dynamic leadership ni Jail Warden JSupt. Michelle Ng-Bonto.

Isa sa aktibong ipinatutupad sa jail facility ang Welfare and Development Programs para sa mga Persons Deprived of Liberty na sinusuportahan naman ni QC Mayor Joy Belmonte.

Samantala, napanatili ng QCJMD ang pagiging “drug-free jail” batay sa pinakahuling joint greyhound operation ng Quezon City Police Station 10 at QCJMD-BJMP.

May ilang kontrabando lamang tulad ng improvised bladed weapons, improvised icepicks at iba pa ang nakumpiska sa loob ng pasilidad.

Bukod sa joint greyhound operations, kasama ang ibang law enforcement agencies, patuloy pa ring isinasagawa ng QCJMD ang daily greyhound operations bilang bahagi ng “Oplan Linis Piitan “ng BJMP at suporta sa BIDA Program ng DILG. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
