Pasado sa physical at mental examination ang 200 dating MILF at MNLF members na nag-apply para maging miyembro ng PNP.

Ayon kay PNP Spokesperson Police Col. Jean Fajardo, ang 200 na nakapasok sa tinatawag na “clean list” ay mula sa 1,000 aplikante na nakapasa sa special eligibility examinations.

Sinabi ni Fajardo na kailangan na lang makapasa sa background check ang mga nasa “clean list” bago isalang sa huling phase ng recruitment process.

Naglaan ang PNP ng 400 slot para sa mga dating MNLF at MILF members na ia-assign sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Matatandan na ang pagpasok ng MILF at MNLF sa PNP ay itinatakda ng Republic Act 11054 o Organic Law for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao matapos ang paglagda sa peace agreement. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
