DA, na-monitor ang patuloy na pagbaba ng presyo ng bigas sa ilang pamilihan sa Meetro Manila

Nagpapatuloy ang pagbaba ng bentahan ng bigas sa ilang pamilihan sa Metro Manila batay sa Bantay Presyo ng Department of Agriculture.

Sa market monitoring ng DA noong September 19, mayroon nang mabibiling ₱40 na regular milled rice habang may nagbebenta na rin ng ₱43 na well milled rice partikular sa Marikina Public Market.

Mayorya pa rin ng mga palengke sa Metro Manila ay nakakasunod sa EO-39 o ang price cap sa bigas kung saan available pa rin ang ₱45 na kada kilo ng well milled rice.

Maging ang mga ibinebentang premium na local rice ay bumaba na rin ang presyo.

Katunayan, mayroon na ngayong mabibiling ₱49 kada kilong premium rice mula sa dating ₱60 habang may special rice na ₱54 ang kada kilo.

Umaasa naman ang DA na magtutuloy-tuloy na ang pagbaba ng presyo ng bigas habang papalapit ang peak ng anihan.  | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
