Upgraded Coast Guard Station sa Pagasa Island, pinasinayaan ng PCG

Ipinakilala ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang kanilang bagog Coast Guard Station sa Pag-asa Island matapos itong masira noong 2021 dahil sa Bagyong Odette.

Makikita sa bagong tatlong palapag na gusaling ito ang mga advance na teknolohiyang magpapabuti sa pagsubaybay ng PCG sa kilos ng mga dayuhang pwersa sa karagatan, pati na rin ang mga pampublikong sasakyang pandagat at eroplano. Ayon kay Coast Guard Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan, ito ay magbibigay-dagdag na kakayahan sa pwersa ng bansa sa pagmamanman sa karagatan.

Pinuri naman ni National Security Adviser Secretary Eduardo Año ang dedikasyon ng PCG sa pagpatrolya sa karagatan sa kabila ng mga panganib na kakabit nito.
