Pagpapabuti ng health facilities sa mga tourist hotspot, suportado ni Sen. Bong Go

Nagpahayag ng suporta si Senate Committee on Health Chairperson Senador Christopher ‘Bong’ Go sa isusulong na panukalang palakasin ang health facilities sa mga pamosong tourist destination sa Pilipinas.

Una nang pinahayag ni Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri na maghahain siya ng panukalang batas kaugnay nito, matapos sabihin sa kanya ng ilang mga miyembro ng Consular Corp. ang kakulangan ng health facilities sa mga tourist spot sa bansa.

Sinabi ni Go, na kailangan na ang pagtatatag ng mga ospital at komprehensibong health facilities sa mga dinadayo ng turista, hindi lang para matiyak ang pagseserbisyo sa mga dayuhan kung hindi maging sa mga residente ng lugar.

Ipinunto rin ng senador, na nagsisimula na ngayon ang inisyatibong ito gaya na lang ng itinayong Siargao Island Medical Center.

Saimula aniya nang maipasa ang batas para dito ay malaki na ang naging improvement ng ospital, kabilang na ang pagpapataas ng bed capacity at upgrade ng professional healthcare services doon.
