DSWD, nakapaghatid na ng halos 30,000 food packs sa mga naapektuhan ng malawakang baha sa VISMIN

Umabot na sa kabuuang 29,780 Family Food Packs (FFPs) ang naipaabot ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa tuloy tuloy na relief efforts sa mga residenteng naapektuhan ng malawakang pagbaha dulot ng ITCZ at Habagat.

Ayon sa DSWD, kabilang sa nahatiran ng food packs ang mga apektado sa Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, at BARMM.

Laman ng bawat food packs ang bigas, delata, kape, at iba pang pangangailangan na makatutugon sa bawat pamilyang naapektuhan ng kalamidad.

Pinakamalaki ang nailaan sa BARMM partikular sa Maguindanao del Norte at Lanao del Sur.

Sa kasalukuyan, nananatili ang P2.7-bilyong halaga ng stockpiles at standby funds ng DSWD Field Office para umagapay sa mga pangangailangan ng mga apektadong residente. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
