Umapaw ang La Mesa Dam sa Quezon City dahil sa tuloy-tuloy na pag-ulang dala ng habagat.

Sa inilabas na situationer ng PAGASA, bandang 5:30am nang sumampa na sa 80.16 meters ang water level ng La Mesa Dam.

Mas mataas na ito sa critical level na 80.15 meters na naging hudyat para magpa­kawala ng tubig ang naturang dam dakong alas-5 ng umaga.

Bunga nito, inaabisuhan ang mga naninirahan sa mababang lugar sa bahagi ng Tullahan River, Quezon City (Barangay Fairview, Forest Hills Subdivision, Sta. Quiteria, at San Bartolome), habang sa Valenzuela City ay ang Barangay Ligon, Barangay North Expressway at La Huerta Subdivision) at Malabon City sa banta ng pagbaha. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
