Panukalang ₱6.352-T 2025 National Budget, sisimulan nang talakayin sa plenaryo ngayong araw

Sasalang na sa debate sa plenaryo ngayong araw ang House Bill 10800 o panukalang ₱6.352-trillion 2025 National Budget.

Batay sa itinakdang schedule ng Kamara, walong araw ang ilalaan para sa plenary deliberations.

Unang sasalang ang Department of Finance, Department of Justice, National Economic and Development Authority, judiciary at lump sums.

Bukas naman, September 17, tatalakayin ang budget ng Office of the Ombudsman, Commission on Human Rights, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Tourism, at Development of Labor and Employment.

September 18 naka-schedule ang Commission on Elections, Department of Agrarian Reform, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Trade and Industry, ibang executive offices at state colleges and universities.

Habang pagdedebatihan sa September 19 ang budget ng Department of National Defense, Department of Migrant Workers, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, at budgetary support ng government corporations.

September 20, haharap sa plenaryo ang Presidential Communications Office kasabay ng Department of Science and Technology, Metro Manila Development Authority, at iba pang executive offices at government corporations.

September 23 naman ang Office of the Vice President.

At pang huli ang Department of Public Works and Highways, Office of the President, at Congress.

September 25 target pagtibayin ang 2025 General Appropriations Bill (GAB).

Paggiit ni Speaker Martin Romualdez, ang pondo na ito ay susuporta sa Agenda for Prosperity at Bagong Pilipinas program ng administrasyong Marcos Jr.

Gayundin ay makamit ang target na paglago ng ekonomiya na nasa 6% o mas mataas pa.
