Pagtatayo ng iba’t ibang tourism infra sa buong Pilipinas, bahagi sa planong pagpapataas ng International Tourist Arrival sa bansa, ngayong 2025

Asahan na ang pag-usbong pa ng maraming imprastruktura na magbibigay ng pinaka-magandang experience sa mga dayuhang bibisita sa bansa, lalo’t ngayong 2025, palalakasin pa ng Tourism Department ang kanilang mga programa, upang mas maraming dayuhan ang bumisita sa Pilipinas.

Sa Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon, sinabi ni DOT Secretary Christina Frasco, na mahigpit ang pakikipagugnayan nila ngayon sa mga hotel owner sa Pilipinas, para sa pagtatayo pa ng mas maraming resorts, accomodation, at hotel.

Magkakaroon rin aniya ng mga karagdagang rest areas na malinis, maganda, at mabango, sa iba’t ibang tourist desinations sa bansa.

Sampu dito ang una nang nakumpleto, 22 ang on going na, habang 60 ang itatayo pa.

Magkakaroon rin aniya ng Tourist First Aid Facilities.

“So, we are working with the Department of Health para mabigyan natin ng immediate and quality emergency assistance iyong ating mga turista, this includes island destinations such as Bohol, mayroon din tayo sa La Union that’s forthcoming and of course, we are including Boracay and several other islands.” —Frasco.

Bukod dito, ang Art Caravan ng DOT, kung saan tinatampok ang iba’t ibang destinasyon sa bansa, kabilang na ang mga beach, bundok, herritage, mga simbahan, festivals, kultura, sayaw, at iba pang ritwal o pamana, iniikot na rin ng DOT sa lahat ng rehiyon sa buong Pilipinas.
