₱1.2-B halaga ng droga, nasabat ng PNP mula Enero hanggang Marso

Umabot sa ₱1.2-bilyong pisong halaga ng ilegal na droga ang narekober ng Philippine National Police (PNP) mula January 1 hanggang March 10 sa taong ito.

Ayon kay PNP Chief Police General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. resulta ito ng 9,375 na operasyon sa buong bansa kung saan naaresto ang 12,622 big time drug pusher at street level personalities.

Kasabay ng walang patid na pagpapatupad ng kampanya kontra droga, sinabi ng Gen. Azurin na tinututukan ng PNP ang operasyon laban sa loose firearms, pagbuwag ng mga private armed groups, at tuloy-tuloy na kampanya laban sa organized crime groups at wanted person.

Iniulat ni Azurin na nasa 6,268 armas ang narekober ng PNP mula January 1 hanggang March 12.

Habang umabot naman sa 14,472 wanted persons ang naaresto ng PNP sa loob ng naturang panahon. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
