50-Year Metro Manila Drainage Master Plan ng MMDA, aprubado na ng World Bank

Inihayag ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) na aprubado na ng World Bank ang bubuoing 50-Year Metro Manila Drainage Master Plan.

Layon ng nasabing proyekto na mabawasan ang mga pagbaha sa National Capital Region.

Ayon sa MMDA, nagsasagawa na sa ngayon ng scoping at inventory ang ahensya para matukoy kung ano ang mga lokal na pamahalaan sa Metro Manila na mayroon ng master plan at kung paano ito maisasama sa bubuoing komprehensibong master plan.

Dahil sa 50 taon ang plano, kinokonsidera ng MMDA ang weather pattern, sea level, at projected rainfall para siguradong epektibo at tatagal ng limang dekada ang nasabing plano.
