Pangwakas na programa ng 44th National Reservist Week, pangungunahan ng DND secretary at AFP chief

Pangungunahan ni Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilbert Teodoro ang pangwakas na programa ng 44th National Reservist Week ngayong Sabado.

Ang programa na isasagawa sa Camp Aguinaldo ay dadaluhan din ni Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr.

Ang aktibidad ay magsisimula ng alas-7 ng umaga sa pamamagitan ng flag-raising ceremony bago isagawa ang programa ng alas-9 ng umaga.

Tampok dito ang paggawad ng parangal sa mga natatanging reservist at Reserve units, at capability demonstration ng 27th Naval Affiliated Reserve Group.

Una nang kinilala ni Gen. Brawner ang malaking papel ng mga reservist bilang responders sa Humanitarian and Disaster Relief Operations (HADR).

Kinilala din kamakailan ng AFP ang malaking tulong ng mga reservist na nakatira sa baybayin ng West Philippine Sea sa pag-monitor ng mga aktibidad ng China sa karagatan ng bansa. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
