Pagharap ng Japanese Prime Minister sa mga mambabatas ng Pilipinas, mahalagang hakbang, ayon sa isang political analyst

Inaasahang ilalatag ni Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida sa harap ng mga mambabatas ng Pilipinas ang kaniyang foreign policy, hindi lamang para sa Pilipinas bagkus ay para sa buong Southeast Asian Region.

Ang hakbang na ito ayon kay Prof. Froilan Calilung, isang political analyst, ay mahalaga lalo na sa gitna ng mga regional issue sa kasalukuyan. Partikular sa West Philippine Sea (WPS).

Sa Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon, sinabi ng propesor na ang hakbang na ito ay bilang paghahanda na rin ng Japanese official sa disensyo ng structural architecture na hinuhubog ng Japan sa mga bansang kasapi ng ASEAN.

Batid naman aniya ng lahat, na bahagyang nababatikos ang ASEAN sa hindi pagiging matigas ng posisyon nito sa West Philippine Sea (WPS).

Ang nais lamang aniya ng Japan, mas maging vocal at decisive ang ASEAN countries sa usaping ito.

Pasado alas-2 ng hapon (November 3), lumapag sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ang Japanese Prime Minister, kung saan sinalubong ito ni Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista.

Tutungo ito sa Malacañang, para sa bilateral meeting nila ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., para sa pagpapalalim pa ng ugnayan ng Pilipinas at Japan. | ulat ni Racquel Bayan
