Hinimok ni Bicol Saro Party-list Representative Brian Yamsuan ang pribadong sektor at gobyerno na gawing ‘viral’ ang good governance.

Sa kaniyang mensahe sa isang pagtitipon ng mga miyembro ng Rotary Club, binigyang-diin ng mambabatas na mahalagang hingin ng pribadong sektor ang accountability at transparency mula sa mga opisyal at empleyado ng gobyerno.

Habang ang pamahalaan naman, dapat magkaroon ng kooperasyon at non-partisan partnership sa pagitan ng Ehekutibo at Lehislatura upang masigurong ang kapakanan ng mga Pilipino ang mauuna.

Para sa mambabatas, ang ganitong kolaborasyon ay magbibigay daan sa tunay na reporma.

“Let us make transparency the new trend, and let us make it cool to care about our country…from current beliefs na ang gobyerno ay kurap, puro pangakong napako, at mga inutil—to the ideal belief of a transparent, accountable and reliable one. It can spark hope that change is possible,” ani Yamsuan.

Sa panig naman ng pribadong sektor, isa sa mga maitutulong nila ay ang pag-iwas sa mga fixer.

Inihalimbawa rin nito ang isang porter ng Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) na si Victor Perez, na isinaoli sa isang Korean tourist ang naiwan nitong $10,000 US dollars.
