DND Sec. Teodoro, nagpasalamat kay US Defense Sec. Austin sa pagsuporta sa posisyon ng Pangulo sa WPS

Nagpasalamat si Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilbert Teodoro kay US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin sa kanyang pagsuporta sa posisyon ng Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na nagtataguyod ng karapatan ng mga maliliit na estado.

Ito’y sa pulong bilateral ng dalawang opisyal sa 21st International Institute for Strategic Studies Shangri-La Dialogue sa Singapore noong Sabado.

Dito’y ipinaabot ni Sec. Austin ang kanyang pagbati sa Pangulo sa kanyang maliwanag na paglalahad ng posisyon ng Pilipinas sa isyu sa West Philippine Sea (WPS).

Binigyang-diin ni Sec. Austin na ang Pilipinas at Estados Unidos ay kapwa determinado na panatilihing bukas at malaya ang West Philippine Sea.

Ibinahagi naman ni Sec. Teodoro kay Sec. Austin ang patuloy na pagsisikap ng Pilipinas na mapalakas ang kanyang depensa sa pamamagitan ng Comprehensive Archipelagic Defense Concept.  | ulat ni Leo Sarne
