DA, posibleng mag-angkat na ng yellow onion

Pinag-aaralan na ng Department of Agriculture (DA) ang posibleng pag-aangkat ng sibuyas sa bansa partikular ang yellow onion o puting sibuyas.

Ayon kay DA Spokesperson Assistant Secretary Arnel de Mesa, magmumula sa Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) ang rekomendasyong ito na aaprubahan ni Secretary Francisco Tiu-Laurel.

Aminado naman si Asec. De Mesa na may kakapusan na ngayon ng yellow onion.

Paliwanag nito, kung mag-aangkat ng sibuyas, ito ay para masigurong may sapat na suplay sa merkado na para sa household gayundin sa industry consumption.
