DepEd, minabuting hindi na humingi ng confidential funds sa 2025 para iwas kontrobersya

Naniniwala ang bagong kalihim ng Department of Education (DepEd) na si Secretary Sonny Angara na hindi na humingi ng confidential fund ang nakaraang DepEd officials para iwas kontrobersiya.

Punto niya, hindi naman rin ipinilit ng dating administrasyon ng DepEd ang confidential funds sa kanilang 2024 budget kaya hindi na rin nanghingi para sa susunod na taon.

Kung mayroon man aniya na kailangang proyekto o programa na pondohan ay isasama na ito sa line item.

Ayon naman kay DepEd Undersecretary Annalyn Sevilla, tumalima ang kagawaran sa guidelines na nakasaad sa joint circular sa cash advance pagdating sa confidential at intelligence funds.
