DA, may nakahandang ₱164-M agri inputs para sa mga magsasakang apektado ng bagyong Julian

Tiniyak ng Department of Agriculture (DA) ang tulong na ilalaan para sa mga magsasakang apektado ng pagtama ng bagyong Julian.

Ayon sa DA, kabilang sa inihahanda nito ang ₱164.27-milyong halaga ng agricultural inputs (rice, corn, and vegetable seeds) na mula sa Regional Offices nito sa Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, at Central Luzon.

Mayroon ding hanggang ₱25,000 loan ang maaaring ialok sa ilalim ng Survival and Recovery (SURE) Loan Program ng Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC).

Kaugnay nito, umakyat pa sa ₱481.27-million ang halaga ng pinsala ng agri sector bunsod ng pananalasa ng bagyong Julian.

Kasama sa apektado ang 20,134 magsasaka mula sa Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, at Central Luzon. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
