31 operatiba ng Eastern Police District, inalis sa pwesto matapos masangkot sa umano’y kaso ng robbery-hold up sa pamilya ng Chinese national sa Las Piñas City

Kinumpirma ni NCRPO Director Police Major General Anthony Aberin na inalis na sa pwesto ang 31 operatiba at opisyal ng Eastern Police District Special Operations Unit (EPD-SOU) matapos masangkot sa umano’y robbery-hold up sa bahay ng pamilya ng Chinese national sa Las Piñas City.

Ayon kay Maj. Gen. Aberin, agad niyang ipinag-utos ang pagdidisarma sa mga sangkot na pulis at kinumpiska rin ang kanilang chapa. Kasabay nito, inilagay ang buong unit ng EPD SOU sa restrictive custody.

Lumabas sa inisyal na imbestigasyon na nilabag ng mga operatiba ang standard operating procedures (SOP), kabilang ang pagsasagawa ng operasyon sa labas ng kanilang area of responsibility nang walang pre-operation clearance, kawalan ng body-worn camera o anumang recording device, at hindi aprubadong operasyon.

Sa ngayon, Inihahanda na ang kasong kriminal at administratibo laban sa mga sangkot na pulis.
