Mga Pulis na lumalabag sa batas trapiko, hindi kukunsintihin ng PNP

Hindi kukunsintihin ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang sinumang pulis na lalabag sa batas trapiko.

Ito ay makaraang mahuli ng mga tauhan ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang ilang pulis na wala namang opisyal na lakad subalit dumaraan sa EDSA Busway.

Ayon kay PNP Public Information Office Chief, Police Colonel Jean Fajardo, tulad ng mga ordinaryong mamamayan ay hindi abswelto ang mga pulis sa mga ipinatutupad na batas.

Kaya naman hinimok nila ang MMDA na magsampa ng kaukulang kaso laban sa mga pulis na lumalabag sa batas trapiko.

Una nang sinabi ni MMDA Task Force Special Operations Group Chief, Edison Bong Nebrija na maghahain sila ng reklamo sa Directorate for Intelligence and Detective Management (DIDM) laban sa mga nahuli nilang pulis.

Samantala, sa kabila ng maraming nasampolang motorista kahapon, pumalo pa rin sa 107 ang bilang ng mga motorista na nahuli ngayong araw dahil sa hindi awtorisadong pagdaan sa busway.

Ayon sa MMDA mula sa naturang bilang, 42 ang 4-wheel habang nasa naman 65 ang motorsiklo.
