NCRPO, nakakumpiska ng P6.4-M halaga ng iligal na droga sa limang araw na magkakasunod na operasyon

Aabot sa 6.4 milyong pisong halaga ng iligal na droga ang nakumpiska ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) sa magkakasunod na operasyon mula Agosto 7 hanggang 11.

Ayon kay NCRPO Director Police Brig. General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., sa loob ng naturang panahon, nakapagsagawa ang iba’t ibang police district sa Metro Manila ng kabuuang 252 operasyon.

Dito’y naaresto ang 149 na indibidwal na sangkot sa iba’t ibang drug-related activities na nakunan ng shabu, marijuana, at ecstasy.

Binati ni PNP Chief Police General Benjamin Acorda Jr. ang matagumpay na operasyon ng NCRPO laban sa iligal na droga at sinabing ito ay testamento ng pagsisikap ng PNP na itaguyod ang rule of law.
