Alas Pilipinas Women players will not see action in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League On Tour.
The PVL said national team athletes who are officially representing the Philippines or participating in national team activities will remain unavailable for the preseason games as part of its continued support for the country’s international program.
About to miss its key players are Capital1, Creamline, Akari as they all lend three players each.
The much-awaited team up of triple-threat Vanie Gandler, Bella Belen, and Erika Santos for the Solar Spikers will have to wait a little longer.
The Cool Smashers will be also without Pangs Panaga, Jia De Guzman, and Jen Nierva while the Chargers will go on with their games minus Mars Alba, Fifi Sharma, and Justine Jazareno.
Other players who will be absent are Choco Mucho’s Dawn Catindig and Eya Laure, PLDT’s Alleiah Malaluan and Dell Palomata, NXLED’s Gel Cayuna, and ZUS Coffee’s Thea Gagate.
Meanwhile, the PVL integrated tweaks for the tournament set to start on July 8 as winning teams will receive P100,000 and losing clubs P50,000.
All 14 players in each team’s roster are required to play before the end of the second set, guaranteeing meaningful exposure for every athlete.
Lastly, the return of the strategic Premier Ball – worth two points on a successfully won rally—adds another layer of excitement and tactical decision-making.
ZUS Coffee will take on Akari at 4 p.m. to be followed by the 6:30 p.m. tussle between Creamline and NXLED in the tournament opener in Ilagan City, Isabela.
