Inaasahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na magpapatuloy ang laban ng pamahalaan kontra korupsyon, kahit pa matapos na ang kaniyang administrasyon.
Sabi ng Pangulo, gumugulong naman na ang iba’t ibang hakbang na nagsusulong ng accountability at transparency.
Nariyan aniya ang ongoing investigations at pagsasampa ng mga reklamo laban sa mga sangkot sa flood-control scandal.
“The reason that I exposed all of this in the SONA before last was simple, because I was shocked by what was going on. And I said, we have to, it is so endemic and it is so deeply rooted in the way in our thinking, in our political culture, that you have to do something fairly radical to change the paradigm shift is actually even a bit of a weaker term for it,” -Pangulong Marcos Jr.
Ang kailangan ayon sa pangulo, pagbabago ng kultura at mindset ng mga kawani at opisyal ng gobyerno. “You have to change the culture, change the thinking of the way people view their positions in government. And that is what we are trying to do. And that’s why when I say I hope this continues beyond my term,” -Pangulong Marcos Jr.
