Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) on Tuesday was added to the growing list of the country’s top real estate developers that support President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s flagship Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH).
FLI on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Pag-IBIG Fund, offering qualified homebuyers wider housing options and access to special incentives on select residential units.
DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling, who also chairs the Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees, witnessed the signing ceremony held at the DHSUD Central Office between Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene Acosta and FLI President Tristan Las Marias.
Under the agreement, qualified Pag-IBIG Fund members may avail themselves of preferential financing rates, special discounts, home furniture packages, and other incentives on select FLI units, subject to applicable terms and program guidelines.
Secretary Aliling welcomed FLI’s participation, saying the growing number of developers supporting the Expanded 4PH is helping broaden the range of housing choices available to Filipino families.
The FLI agreement comes barely a week after SM Development Corp. (SMDC) signed an MOU with Pag-IBIG Fund in support of the Expanded 4PH. Last month, Ayala Land Inc’s residential brands Amaia Land Corp. and Avida Land Corp. likewise entered into agreements with Pag-IBIG Fund.
Earlier in February, Megawide Construction Corp. committed at least 7,000 socialized housing units to the program, utilizing modern construction technologies to help accelerate housing delivery.
Through these agreements, Pag-IBIG Fund continues to make its housing financing available to more members seeking affordable homeownership opportunities, while developers contribute additional housing inventory under the government’s flagship program.
Joining Secretary Aliling during the ceremony were Senior Undersecretary Eduardo Robles Jr., Pag-IBIG Fund Deputy CEO Alex Aguilar, FLI Senior Vice President Mary Averose Valderrama, and other officials from DHSUD, Pag-IBIG Fund, and Filinvest Land Inc. | PR from Pag-IBIG Fund
