Isinusulong ng Pilipinas ang 19 Priority Economic Deliverables o PEDs sa ilalim ng pagiging ASEAN Chair ngayong taon upang mapabilis ang digital transformation, mapalakas ang seguridad sa enerhiya, at mapatatag ang ekonomiya ng rehiyon sa harap ng mga pandaigdigang hamon.
Ayon kay DTI Undersecretary Allan Gepty, siyam sa 19 na Priority Economic Deliverables ang saklaw ng ASEAN Economic Ministers. Kabilang dito ang mga hakbang sa digitalization at artificial intelligence, resilient supply chains, sustainable development, investment, MSMEs, creative economy, at energy security. Aniya, layunin ng mga inisyatibong ito na ihanda ang ASEAN sa pagpapatupad ng ASEAN Community Vision 2045 at ng ASEAN Economic Community Strategic Plan 2026-2030.
Inaasahang magsisilbing gabay ang mga Priority Economic Deliverables sa pagpapatibay ng kooperasyong pang-ekonomiya ng ASEAN at sa paghahanda ng rehiyon para sa mga hamon at oportunidad sa mga susunod na taon.
